Well, I had a couple'a questions about the game and figured I'd open up a thread in case other people had some too. And the OOC section was lonely-looking.
What exactly are the eden hexes? I'm sure it's hidden in the rules someplace, but I couldn't find it. Are they like...super-fertile rainforests?
We don't need to spend RP points to create characters, right? The rules say that it costs one RP to make a hero, and while I assume that's a super-character, I figured I'd double check.
Thanks in advance! ^_^

yes they're super-fertile rainforest places, and no you don't need to spend RP to focus on a single character, just to make an exceptionally powerful hero.

Since I know this will come up in the future, how do you intend to handle sub-races?

osh >< I had a huge discussion with kurst about this...
Pretty much what I've got right now is that tech will be universal, but everything else can be changed to your heart's content... not sure if there's a better way to handle that better and if there is I'd love to hear it

I'm not really sure how to handle it. I was just thinking that Drow, despite being a subrace of elves, have tech that is totally different than regular elves.

How would they handle new terrains? Say, from mountain to desert, with everything needed for their survival there bing alright, save the whole "lol sand" thing?
And for sub-races, maybe it would simply work kinda like cats and dogs? Just the forebears, so to speak, and they just branch off from there?
And how about a bit mroe info on these Hero-type characters and RP points, plz? Like, RP points is kinda obvious, making sense, being creative, blah blah blah-- but a bit more info on heroes would be nice.

they would handle new terrains in different ways depending on the race, but yes, for statistic purposes it functions just the same
as for sub-races, we'll deal with those situations as they show up...
and for heroes... think of the characters you would play in D&D, that's a hero. Someone capable of doing things ordinary beings couldn't do.
