Shoot. I wasn't really ready yet either. I guess it was just a very uneventful 5 years for the Carin. I'll just have to make these ones extra exciting. Lets see... *plots* Population changes: 300->306 400->408 200->204 100->102 For a new total of 1020. My population doesn't grow all that fast... +2% with no freak deaths. D: Um, 5 years? 1 round usually= 1 year

Morhu
Intelligence: EP 10/ SP 10 not the most intelligent of creatures, but then again they don't value it anyway. Why should they, after all they are hunters and gathers and pride themselves on that. Their bodies will naturally take care of them, why worry? Toughness: EP 30/ SP 20 Morhu are fairly tough creatures compared to other races. They need to be for when prey gets a chance to fight back. Agility: EP 10/ SP 10 decently, but certainly not blindingly fast, the Morhu tend to use the same tactics as wolves when hunting, relying only partially on speed and agility. After all, in their culture, there is only the hunt, and the pack, and who would need more than that? Strength: EP 10/SP 10 a mediocre race as far as strength is concerned, other parts of them have evolved faster than their muscles, but their muscles are working hard to catch up. Language: Communicate via scent, EP 5/ SP 5 They can not "speak" as other races do, but instead emit an odor that others of their race can pick up and understand. They can pick up these communication scents at up to 50 feet. Grasping Appendage: They have 2 hands, EP 5/SP 5 They have 5 fingers, but they do not have opposable thumbs. Claws: 10 EP/10 SP Morhu have claws as sharp and hard as flint.
Tech Hunting:10 EP/ 10 SP [stacks 25% with Martial Arts for 12 SP total] Masters of the hunt, Morhu follow the same hunting techniques used by wolves, as well as ones the have developed for themselves. With their emphasis on the hunt, it's no surprise that this is their one and only science. Hunting Tactics: 10 EP/10 SP [stacks 100 % with Hunting for 20 SP total] The Morhu, being masters of the hunt, are masters at the art of using tactics for the hunt, making them far better at taking down prey. Martial Arts: 10 EP/10 SP [stacks 50% with claws and 25% with Hunting for 14 SP total] They know their bodies, and they know how to use them. Hunting has taught them how to use their bodies for fighting purposes and they have learned it quickly. Do not mess with them, they do know how to sever a creatures jugular or break it's neck with their bare hands, even if they don't understand HOW this works, they understand that it DOES work. Their martial arts depend heavily on their claws, making them deadly combatants. Warm Fur:10 EP/10 SP Living in a temperate environment, Morhu fur is neither extremely warm, or extremely short, it is a decent mix of both. Strong Immune System:10 EP/10 SP Their immune system is strong, allowing them to eat meat even after it has rotten for weeks. This allows them to get everything they can out of the food they hunt. Poison Resistance: 5 EP/5 SP [full stacking with Strong Immune System for a total of 10 SP] Their strong immune system has given birth to resistance to poison and other chemicals that cause damage to their cells.
The Morhu seem to be evolved from some sort of wolf like creature. They form packs, lead by an Alpha male and female, who gain this position by strength. They no nothing about magic, and value hunting and physical ability. They cannot make fire, since they don't need it. They eat their food raw, and their fur keeps them warm.
Social Structure and Community The normal social structure for the Morhu is the Pack, containing between 100 and 1000 Morhu. 2 or more Packs can form into a Major Pack, and this is common in places with extremely good hunting, or to fend off attack. A group of Morhu of less than 100 is called a Demi-Pack
A pack is separated into three ranks, or castes.
The Alphas There are only ever two Alphas in a pack. These are the strongest and toughest Morhu in the pack. Each year they are challenged for the position, making sure that the strongest is always in charge. When a Major Pack is formed, all the Alphas from the packs going into it battle, and the Alpha that wins leads the movements for as long as the Major Pack stays together.
The Betas Most other Morhu fall into the Betas. The Betas have no real political power, and are completely sub servant to the Alphas. After all, the Alphas have proven themselves the most worthy to lead.
The Omegas These are essentially slaves to the other Morhu, although not in name. They are born into this caste simply by an unlucky bith. If a Morhu has more than 3 pups in a litter [the average amount], only the first 3 become Betas, the others become Omegas. Omegas are taught how to hunt and how to use the Morhu Martial Arts, but beyond this basic training they are not allowed to hunt, they are the scavengers and gatherers. An Omega may become an Alpha if they can defeat the existing Alpha in combat, but due to Omegas lack of practice fighting, this is rare. Omegas that show great ability are often taken as mates by Betas [the Alphas only mate with eachother].
Mating Morhu normally mate for life, but exceptions can be found. The Alpha only mates with the other Alpha, and if the other Alpha changes the one who didn't change, changes mates.
Child Raising Morhu children are called pups. They are raised by their mother in seclusion from the pack for their first month, after which she brings them into the pack.. After this the entire pack will help to teach the pup, though pups tend to remain mostly with their mother's for the five years. After this point the pups become fully part of the pack as adults.
[Morhu live about 25 years, assuming they are not killed at a younger age]
Prey The favorite prey of the Morhu is the silverbuck. A deer with silvery skin and razor sharp horns. It is dangerous to hunt, it's horns are able to hack a Morhu to bits in seconds... if the Morhu doesn't break it's neck or sever it's jugular first, which is the whole point of Morhu Martial Arts. The more common prey however, is a creature much like a sheep, called them Manu. About the same size as a large cow, they have wool just like sheep. The only difference is that Manu have the ability to run up to 70 KPH, meaning that the Morhu must make good use of their hunting tactics. The also hunt the slower, but less nutritious Vellom. Vellom are about the size of a sheep and move about as fast, but are very fatty and not very nutritious.
Predators Few creatures would cross the Morhu, but the feline clawtigers will. About 10 feet long at full growth, with razor sharp claws and teeth, it really looks similar to a tiger... with one big difference, the claws of a clawtiger inject a poison as deadly as cobra venom. Speaking of cobras, the other preditor of the Morhu is a snake of about a foot in length. It is called a rast and resembles a tiny cobra. Unlike cobras, the rast has learned to use it's fangs not only to inject venom, but to suck out the fluids as their venom digests their victim from the inside out.
A:6 R:4
[Due to the tough life they lead with so many predators running around and even prey that can kill them the Morhu have a lower population than other races, but have evolved faster- they have traded 700 of population for 35 EP]

you're 25 EP short, you get 100 to start and you only have 75. Unless you meant it to be SP, not EP. Might be wise to specify which it is.

How the hell do you have web? It's second level. Also, note: I'm an orc dragon shaman with 19 str, a morningstar, and an aura of power just waiting to be used. You're an elf wizard with d4 hit dice. I could down you in one hit if I wanted to, easily. That's why I bull rushed instead of attacking. I have web thanks to the precocious apprentice feat from Complete Arcane- allows me to use web 1/day if I make a DC 8 spellcraft check [impossible to fail since my spellcraft has a +11 mod]. Once I get 2nd level spells the slot for web is included in my daily totals and no longer has to be used for web, I can prepare in it normally. And my HD might be d4, but you might be able to down me in one hit, but you couldn't kill me in one not unless you can do 18 damage per hit, cause I have 18 CON.

We might need your healing. It's possible that I'm about to unleash a world of hurt on him. Or the other way around if he is actually able to use that web spell. You could be stuck for 10 minutes, meanwhile I can blast you with MM and attack with my bow. Not to mention if the web works I could ray of enfeeblment you.
