You quickly recognize the wall as divine magic, but it is so old, it is difficult to determine it's exact effect. It doesn't seem like it is dangerous, but then what is it for?

((Ho boy....I read up a little on this adventure before we started, very little, not enough for spoilers, and I think I know what this is. If I'm right, it's not good, but it won't hurt us and it's inevitable anyway.))

Kurst looks around at his fellow party members standing, staring at the wall, and decides, with a shrug, to go and see this thing for himself.
Walking past those gathered at the entrance, Kurst shuffles his feet up to the barrier, and jumps into it.

jumping into the barrier, you find that it is light as air, and in fact, it offers no friction to your jump. Unprepared for the distance between the air and the ground, you trip your way down the steps and fall a ways before rolling to a stop. (1 point non-lethal damage)

Upon hearing the loud THUD of his fellow adventurer, Slobek panics.
KURST! Ya daft fool! What d'ya think yer doing?! Are ya alright?
Curious, he walks hestantly up to the wall, shield raised as though expecting the stones to attack, and carefully prods at the barrier with his morningstar a bit.

the moment you touch the morningstar to the barrier, it slides through as if nothing were there, leaving the only slight ripple like the rock and your ally. However when you try to pull it back from the slight prod, you find that the weapon is actively resisting your pulls. It won't move back toward you at all.

Shocked by the resistance of the barrier, Slobek realizes that there's only one thing left to do.
Alright! It looks like this wall only allows us to enter, but not to leave, and since Kurst is already on the other side, and I promised to not abandon any of ya, I'm going through.
With that he holds onto his morningstar tight, faces straight forward, and inhales deeply. In one swift motion, he takes one giant step through.

Meryl rolls her eyes, stepping quietly through the barrier, shivering a bit as she passes through it. She keeps behind the leaders, leaning aginst the wall as she waits for the others to catch up.

Huor puts a hand through the barrier and tugs gently, feeling the resistance of the rippling screen before walking through as well.

"I guess this means leaving to forage is out. I hope everyone brought some food..."
Chloe stares at the wall for a moment, marveling at how powerful some magic could be. Then, hesitating for a just a moment, also steps through.

I laugh silently in my hand for several seconds at Kurst's antics as the party passes me. I look around and seeing that almost the entire party had gone through the wall I frown slightly.
I walk through the wall and walk up to Kurst and I offer him a hand to stand, shaking my head slightly at the human What were you thinking? We really had no idea what it did, I mean it could have dissolved living flesh- and I doubt anyone would want that I smirk and quickly add Although if it did it would be your own fault ya' blasted fool!

(alright, you're in the dungeon now, time to use fractal mapper I'm going to use letters for characters unless you want to provide a square image that'll be stretched accordingly. BTW, I altered the first room a bit just for aesthetics, it was originally just a huge blank room with a small door in the corner, and that bothered me, so I made it look nice Aside from how things look, I didn't change a thing, it just bothered me ^^ (oh, and I put everyone on the map in the order you went through the portal, you can rearrange yourselves however you want.) As you descend the stairs, and turn the sharp corner to a large room with about ten feet of headspace, you see the space is occupied by what looks like a flat stone circle with a few feet of slightly raised stone around its edge in the center. Around the circle and near the far edge of the room, stone pot torches are arranged in a pattern. The torches burn brightly in the black room, but at a second glance, it is obvious that there is something strange to the fire. There is no fuel burning in them, only fire. On the far end of the room, a double stone door lies in the wall, with a similar pattern to the one in the door at the entrance. (N is Cassandra... sorry, but that was the first available letter for your name >.> also, could you please write in the third person, it's kinda strange-looking compared to everyone else...)
